CHAPTER - 12

Abhyansh called his men and ordered them to bring Madan to his den that night. They had already captured him that afternoon.

Later, after dinner, Abhyansh was about to leave Ranveer's chamber when the latter's words halted his steps.

"Ishu... sleep in my chamber tonight. I'll have an extra bed arranged here. I might need you during the night, you know. I'm completely dependent on you."

Ranveer had no intention of letting his sister return to her chamber and sleep on that hard cot. And if she went with her husband instead, he knew she would end up sleeping on the floor. Either way, he didn't want it.

"She will sleep with her husband, Rajput."

Abhyansh's declaration came before Isha could utter a word. He walked away immediately after, leaving no room for an argument.

He knew exactly what Ranveer was trying to do. And he wouldn't let him succeed. Isha Abhyansh Singh Ranawat was born to suffer. And he would make sure she did.

"Arrogant Beast..." Ranveer muttered angrily once he was gone.

"Bhai... don't worry. I won't go into a deep sleep. You can call me on my phone whenever you need me, okay?" Isha assured him.

"No, no. Sleep properly. You've been working the entire day. You need proper rest. I don't need anything."

Isha looked at him in confusion.

"But just now you said you'll need me..."

Ranveer mentally sighed at his sister's innocence and kindness.

"No, Ishu. I won't need anything, bacha. You sleep properly, please."

Isha nodded.

After having her dinner and giving Ranveer his medicines, she prepared to leave for the night. Since she had been taking care of him throughout the day, she requested the junior doctor and nurses to remain particularly alert at night.

They were more than happy to oblige.

If Isha remained responsible for Ranveer during the day and they took over at night, at least they wouldn't have to encounter the BEAST during those hours. If only they knew what they were going to witness that very night.

Isha entered the guest chamber and found her husband still working.

Without disturbing him, she quickly arranged her bedding on the floor. Once she was done, she approached Abhyansh to check whether he needed anything before she retired for the night.

"Maharaj, do you need anything?" she asked, lowering her head.

"Yes. Come here."

Isha looked up in surprise. His tone was as cold as ever, but the words themselves caught her off guard. He never called her to him. A thread of fear slipped through her, but she obeyed nonetheless and walked towards him.

"Sit here."

Abhyansh gestured towards the seat beside him.

Her eyes widened. He was asking her to sit beside him. For the first time. What had happened to him? Unable to make sense of his sudden behavior, Isha lowered herself onto the seat, her body trembling with apprehension.

Abhyansh caught hold of her neck and pulled her closer. Isha's eyes snapped shut in fear. Tears slipped from beneath her lashes as the memory of him calling her a sl*t came rushing back.

Then she felt his hands on her bare shoulders. His palms moved over the exposed skin, the touch unexpectedly gentle despite the roughness of his hands.

Isha remained still. She didn't feel the disgust that had consumed her when Madan touched her. What she felt now was fear. She wanted to jerk his hands away, but fear of the BEAST kept her from doing so. She stayed silent as Abhyansh leaned closer to her face.

For one fleeting second, he wanted to do nothing but keep staring at that innocent face. The very next second, warning bells went off in his mind. Abhyansh abruptly jerked her away.

"From now on, you won't feel that b*****d's hands."

Isha's eyes widened like saucers. She didn't dare lift them to her husband's face.

"H... How did you know, Maharaj?" she asked hesitantly.

Abhyansh gave her no answer.

Isha tried to make sense of it herself. Perhaps he had captured Madan after what happened that morning and somehow learned the truth from him.

"Will you kill him?" she asked again, her gaze lowered.

"No."

Relief escaped Isha in a quiet sigh. At least no one would lose his life because of her.

If only she knew that Madan - or anyone else, for that matter - would prefer death over encountering the Beast in his BEASTLY form.

"Maharaj, please don't tell my brother. He'll be worried and angry."

For a moment, Abhyansh was taken aback by her innocence. Did she truly believe her brother knew nothing? Ranveer was the very person who had told him what Madan had done.

"Go to sleep," Abhyansh ordered.

Isha immediately scurried away.

Isha lay on the floor, unable to stop thinking about what Abhyansh had said. He was right. She could no longer feel Madan's filthy hands on her. That memory had been replaced by the touch of her husband's rough palms against her skin. But the realization brought her no relief.

Because his touch hadn't comforted her either. There had been no care in it, no belongingness, nothing that could make her feel that the hands touching her belonged to someone she could seek comfort in. It had only been another touch she had been too afraid to resist. And she hated it.

Tears silently slipped from the corners of her eyes as she thought about her fate. Exhaustion eventually took over, and with those tears still staining her face, Isha drifted into a deep sleep.

Abhyansh finished his work sometime later and rose from his seat. It was time to collect Ranveer and leave for his den. But before stepping out, his gaze fell on his wife. He walked towards her.

Isha was sleeping peacefully, completely unaware of the man standing beside her.

"You are mine to torture, mine to hate, mine to hurt, mine to make you fear... and mine to touch. You are mine to destroy." His cold gaze remained fixed on her sleeping face. "Every tear that slips from your eyes should carry only my name. To the world, you will be my Queen. But in reality, you are my slave... my most hated slave."

With those words, Abhyansh turned around and walked away.

He entered Ranveer's chamber a few moments later.

The junior doctor and nurse, who had been sitting there rather comfortably and talking to each other, shot to their feet the instant they saw him. Whatever ease they had enjoyed until then vanished as both silently cursed their fate.

"Put him in the wheelchair and move."

The dangerous edge in the Beast's voice sent a shiver through them. For one terrifying moment, both wondered whether Abhyansh intended to kill Ranveer.

"M... M... Maharaj?" the doctor somehow gathered enough courage to ask.

That was enough. Abhyansh turned a furious glare on him.

The doctor didn't even dare raise his eyes to meet Abhyansh's, yet he could practically feel the heat of that glare burning into him.

"Leave the poor soul, Mr. Ranawat..." Ranveer said, opening his eyes.

A smirk tugged at his lips as he witnessed, yet again, the effect his brother-in-law had on people.

"I am furious, Rajput. Don't play with me right now." Abhyansh's voice was dangerously low. "I might take two instead of one."

Ranveer understood the warning immediately. Considering his brother-in-law's present state of mind, provoking him any further might genuinely cost Ranveer his life. For once, he decided it would be wiser to remain calm.

"Doctor... help me," Ranveer said instead.

The doctor and nurse immediately moved towards him and carefully helped him into the wheelchair.

"Move," Abhyansh ordered.

"Why them?" Ranveer asked quietly. "One of your men can help me."

Whatever they were about to do to Madan was certainly not something Ranveer wanted the doctor and nurse to witness.

Abhyansh's response, however, surprised him.

"He didn't obey my order. Let him see it."

Ranveer glanced at the unfortunate doctor. He wouldn't spare a single soul who disobeyed him, would he?

Without arguing further, Ranveer gestured for the doctor to follow the Beast. He asked the nurse to remain at the palace, and Abhyansh raised no objection. Unlike the doctor, she hadn't dared to question his order.

Ranveer couldn't help but feel sorry for the man. They climbed into Abhyansh's SUV, and the driver pulled away from the palace. By the time they reached Abhyansh's den, the sight of the place itself was enough to terrify the junior doctor.

Abhyansh walked inside without so much as looking back.

The doctor followed with Ranveer, but his steps faltered as they approached the entrance.

"Your Highness, pl... please, let's not go inside. I'm scared," he pleaded with Ranveer.

Ranveer looked at him sympathetically.

"We have to. And you have to remain there because the King ordered it."

With little choice left, the doctor continued alongside him. Before they could enter, however, the men guarding the den stopped them. No one was allowed inside without explicit permission.

Even Avyan was permitted to enter only on the rare occasions when Abhyansh himself wanted him there.

"I am Mr. Ranawat's brother-in-law. He wants us inside," Ranveer said, his commanding tone leaving no room for doubt.

The guard immediately bowed and allowed them through. He knew they weren't lying. No one possessed enough courage to use the Beast's name for a lie.

They entered the den.

The place was unsettling even to Ranveer, despite the fact that he wasn't easily frightened. The same certainly couldn't be said for the young doctor accompanying him.

"Ma... Maharaj... please forgive me. Please... I'll ask forgiveness from Princess Isha too..." Madan pleaded desperately.

Ranveer watched him in surprise. He had never seen Madan this terrified. There had been times in the past when the man had faced threats to his life, yet he had stood his ground and fought without fear. But this was different. Because Madan knew the Beast wouldn't simply kill him.

Death would have ended his suffering. Abhyansh Singh Ranawat intended to put him through a hell far worse than that, and the sight of the Beast in his most terrifying form was enough to frighten even the bravest of souls.

"Queen Isha Abhyansh Singh Ranawat."

Abhyansh corrected him coldly as he approached Madan.

The man hung upside down, his legs bound by a rope. Abhyansh drew his gun, and the junior doctor's eyes widened in horror. He immediately clamped a hand over his mouth to smother the sound threatening to escape his throat, his entire body breaking into a sweat.

Ranveer had already warned him not to make a sound inside the den. Abhyansh wouldn't appreciate the disturbance. And after everything the doctor had witnessed so far, he certainly wasn't going to ignore that warning.

A gunshot tore through the silence.

Abhyansh shot through the rope binding Madan's legs, sending him crashing headfirst onto the floor. Madan groaned in pain, though the short distance between him and the ground spared him from any serious injury.

Abhyansh grabbed him by the neck and forced his face upwards. Madan knew better than to meet his eyes. He had heard enough about the Beast to know that looking into those eyes now meant he wouldn't be able to see anything else.

Abhyansh brought his boot down over Madan's right hand. Then the left. Those were the hands that had dared to touch his wife. Every detail Ranveer had revealed returned to him, and with each one, Abhyansh's fury mounted. Those filthy hands had touched his wife, leaving her disgusted by their memory. He intended to make Madan pay for every single touch.

Ranveer watched from his wheelchair, his own rage no less consuming. He wanted nothing more than to beat Madan to a pulp for what he had done to his sister, but his present condition rendered him helpless.

Madan's screams filled the den as the nails embedded in Abhyansh's boots pierced the backs of his palms, drawing blood. The junior doctor covered his mouth more firmly, growing increasingly terrified with every passing second.

"What did you think?" Abhyansh asked coldly. "That you were safe because you got Ranveer Rajput bedridden?"

Both Madan and Ranveer stared at him.

"He caused my accident?" Ranveer demanded.

Abhyansh struck Madan across the face, breaking his teeth before forcing him to answer.

Madan finally confessed.

He had been responsible for Ranveer's accident. He was the one who had rammed Ranveer's car that night because he didn't want to abandon his peaceful life and disappear into hiding. He had believed no one would ever discover the truth. In making that assumption, Madan had forgotten about the Beast. And Abhyansh seemed determined to remind him.

What followed left Madan with little opportunity to do anything but endure.

Abhyansh kicked him, struck him repeatedly and treated the man like nothing more than a punching bag, unleashing his fury without restraint. Nearly half an hour passed before he finally stopped.

Abhyansh walked towards his royal chair and settled into it. Madan released a broken breath of relief when the assault finally ceased. The relief lasted only until the Beast spoke again.

"Pull out his fingernails one by one. Separate every finger from his palms, piece by piece." Abhyansh's voice remained frighteningly composed. "There's no hurry. We have the entire night. Cut each finger into as many pieces as you please." His gaze remained fixed on Madan. "I want to hear him scream. The louder his screams, the more satisfied I'll be."

There was no mistaking the command in his voice. Every word was to be followed exactly as spoken. Even Ranveer grew uncomfortable. Just how beastly could this man become? For the first time that night, another thought unsettled him far more than what was happening before his eyes. His sister lived with this man as his wife.

Abhyansh's men immediately began carrying out their King's orders. The moment the first fingernail was pulled free, the junior doctor's stomach churned violently. Madan's screams only grew louder as the punishment continued, reverberating through the den until there was nowhere to escape them.

By the time the last nail was removed and blood covered Madan's hands, the doctor could no longer suppress the bile rising in his throat. He rushed outside and threw up.

Ranveer felt sorry for the young man. He quickly sent him a message telling him to remain outside, an instruction the doctor accepted with immense relief. Inside, Abhyansh's men moved on to the rest of their orders.

Abhyansh remained seated on his royal chair, watching Madan scream, moan and cry in agony without a trace of mercy crossing his face. But there was something even Ranveer didn't know. This was a first for Abhyansh too.

Pulling out fingernails wasn't unusual in the den. Neither was severing body parts while the victim was still alive. But this? Removing a man's fingers bit by bit and ordering each one to be cut into pieces was new even to the men who had carried out countless punishments on their King's command.

Never before had Abhyansh ordered them to take a punishment this far. But strangely, none of it felt excessive to Abhyansh. It might have been the first time he had tortured someone to such an extent, but why should that make it feel wrong?

According to him, Madan deserved far worse for daring to touch his wife. No one had the right to touch her. No one had the right to even think of touching her. And if anyone dared to cross that line, Abhyansh would make them pay for it with every last drop of blood in their body.

The sheer intensity of his own feelings towards his wife surprised even him. But for now, he chose to ignore it.

Hatred. That was the name he gave it. Except somewhere beneath that convenient explanation, his rational mind knew better. Even his hatred for Isha couldn't justify the intensity of his reactions towards her.

He knew she didn't deserve the extent of the hatred he subjected her to. Yes, she was Amar Rajput's daughter, but Abhyansh had suffered far more because of others than he ever had because of Amar Rajput. Yet he hadn't tortured any of them the way he tortured Isha. But again, none of them suffered him because of their children but that wasn't the case with Amar Rajput.

There was no rational explanation for it. And Abhyansh wasn't interested in searching for one. Not yet.

By then, his men had finished carrying out his orders on Madan's hands.

Even Ranveer had been forced to close his eyes at one point, unable to continue watching. But the moment he remembered those same hands touching his sister, he opened them again and forced himself to witness Madan's suffering.

Madan continued crying and screaming in agony, feeling as though his life was leaving his body piece by piece. He begged the Beast repeatedly for mercy.

There was none to be found.

"Now... do the same to his legs," Abhyansh ordered.

His men immediately obeyed. Once they were done, Abhyansh issued his next command.

"Cut his arms and parcel all his severed body parts to his boss." His voice remained chillingly calm. "Kailash should know what's going to hit him soon."

For a fleeting moment, pain pierced Ranveer at the thought of his father eventually meeting a similar fate. But this time, he wouldn't negotiate with Abhyansh. He wouldn't ask the Beast to show Kailash mercy. His father didn't deserve it.

Madan gradually slipped into unconsciousness, and it was evident that he wouldn't survive much longer.

"If he dies before morning, courier his body as well," Abhyansh ordered as he rose to his feet.

VIOLENCE ENDS HERE

Ranveer asked one of Abhyansh's men to wheel him outside, and the man obliged. Once they were out of the den, the junior doctor took over.

Throughout the journey back to the palace, the young man continued to shiver, clearly unable to shake off what he had witnessed. Ranveer couldn't help feeling sorry for him.

The moment they reached his chamber, Ranveer took pity on the poor man.

"Go and get some rest."

The doctor nodded almost immediately and hurried away. Abhyansh was about to leave when Ranveer stopped him.

"Wasn't that a little too much?"

Abhyansh turned towards him.

"It might be too much for your sister's culprit, but it can never be too much for my wife's." His expression remained unyielding. "He deserved far worse for touching my wife."

"You could have at least given him death. He was begging for it," Ranveer pointed out.

"That's the whole point, Rajput." A smirk appeared on Abhyansh's face. "And..." he added, "when your sister asked if I would kill him, I said 'No'. So I couldn't."

With that, Abhyansh walked away.

Ranveer could only shake his head at the contrast between his sister's innocence and his brother-in-law's equally cunning ways.

It was only in the early hours of the morning that he finally drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Isha entered her brother's chamber and found him still asleep. She decided to let him rest until breakfast was ready, and only then did she wake him.

Ranveer slowly opened his eyes, still heavy with sleep.

"I told you to sleep early. Why didn't you?" Isha asked.

At the innocent question, the junior doctor's already pale face lost even more color.

"I couldn't sleep. The plasters are uncomfortable," Ranveer replied.

"Okay. Have breakfast first, and then you can sleep again," she said softly.

Her attention then shifted to the doctor, and a slight frown appeared on her face when she noticed how pale he looked.

"Are you alright, doctor? You don't look well."

Her concern only frightened the poor man further.

After witnessing what Abhyansh had done to a man merely for touching his wife, the doctor couldn't help wondering what the Beast might do to him if he learned that his Queen had shown concern for another man.

"N... No, Your Highness. I'm fine," he stammered.

Isha nodded, accepting his answer without questioning him further.

She asked the nurse to help Ranveer freshen up while she arranged breakfast. But Ranveer began throwing one tantrum after another until Isha eventually had to return and help him herself. By the time she finished, it was already time for her husband's breakfast.

Isha hurried to call Abhyansh and served him his meal first. Once he was done, she returned to Ranveer, fed him his breakfast, and only then sat down to eat her own.

After breakfast, Isha went to her chamber to continue with her work, while Abhyansh settled into Ranveer's chamber with his own work.

With the Beast now settled in Ranveer's chamber, the junior doctor's already miserable state only worsened. Taking pity on him, Ranveer eventually sent both the doctor and the nurse out.

Sometime later, Abhyansh's phone rang. He answered the call, listened to the person on the other end and, after hanging up, smirked.

"What happened?" Ranveer asked.

"He isn't dead yet. The man has a strong life," Abhyansh replied.

Ranveer stared at him, his eyes slowly widening.

"You mean... he's still suffering in the same state you left him in last night?"

Abhyansh's smirk widened, giving him all the confirmation he needed.

"Look, that's really bad." Ranveer's expression turned serious. "You punished him for what he did to Isha. End it now. This is going too far. Please, just kill him already. He must be in a hell of a lot of pain right now."

"I won't kill him. Let him suffer. He deserves it."

With that, Abhyansh returned his attention to his work as though the matter required no further discussion.

Ranveer watched him for a moment.

"Why are you doing this?" he asked. "Whatever he did happened before Isha became your wife. That shouldn't matter to you, right?"

Abhyansh gave him no response. Ranveer could only sigh.

It wasn't until that night that they received news of Madan's death, and Ranveer released a breath of relief. His severed body parts had already been sent to Kailash. Now, his body was parcelled to him as well. But Ranveer knew his father far too well to believe the matter would end there. Kailash wouldn't remain silent after this. He loved Madan more than he had ever loved his own son, and there was no doubt in Ranveer's mind that his father would try to avenge his death.

Weeks passed.

Ranveer's condition gradually improved, with Isha diligently taking care of him throughout his recovery. And Isha discovered that there was at least one advantage to being Abhyansh Singh Ranawat's wife instead of his slave. There had been no punishments lately.

She was careful too, making sure every task her husband expected of her was completed on time.

Until one evening.

The physiotherapist had come to assist Ranveer with his exercises, and Isha remained with her brother, helping him through the session. By the time she returned to prepare dinner, she was running late.

Only by five minutes. But those five minutes were enough to fill her with fear. She waited anxiously for Abhyansh's reaction. None came. He ate without saying a word, and Isha slowly began to believe that perhaps he hadn't noticed the delay after all. She couldn't have been more wrong.

That night, after finishing all her chores, Isha returned to the chamber she shared with her husband. Abhyansh was already there, standing near the window. Isha intended to quietly change her clothes, prepare her place on the floor and go to sleep.

His voice stopped her before she could.

"You want to say something?"

A shiver ran through her at his tone. She understood immediately. He had noticed. He knew she had been late with dinner.

"Maharaj, I'm so sorry..." Isha lowered her gaze. "It won't happen again."

"It won't happen again. I'll make sure of it."

Isha's unease deepened as Abhyansh turned to face her. There was a watch in his hand.

"You will wear this every day, the entire day. You will not remove it."

He began walking towards her.

"No, Maharaj. I don't need it. If you want me to wear a watch, I'll buy one myself," she fumbled, keeping her gaze lowered.

She didn't want to accept anything from him. But Isha was far too innocent to realize that the Beast standing before her wasn't simply offering her a watch. Abhyansh seized her hand and forced it onto her wrist.

Isha screamed.

The watch had been heated to an unbearable temperature, the metal scorching her soft skin the instant it made contact. She instinctively tried to pull away, desperate to tear it off, but Abhyansh held her hand firmly, keeping the burning metal pressed against her wrist.

"Maharaj..."

Pain tore through her as she struggled against his hold, but he didn't release her. Minutes passed before Abhyansh finally let go. By then, the heated metal had burned her skin so severely that the mark of the watch was seared into her wrist. The pain was unbearable.

Isha crumpled to her knees and cried.

"This is just the beginning. If you're late again, you'll see the worst."

With that warning, Abhyansh walked away.

Isha remained on the floor, muffling her sobs behind her hand until exhaustion eventually took over and she fell asleep right there.

The next morning, she tended to the burn on her wrist before beginning her usual chores. She deliberately chose a full-sleeved dress, making sure the wound remained completely hidden. Her brother was already dealing with enough, and if he discovered what had happened, it would only distress him further.

By breakfast time, Isha had everything ready.

She called her husband to the table, and Abhyansh smirked when he saw that she was perfectly on time. The brief exchange didn't escape Ranveer's notice. Something didn't feel right.

His sister had been different since morning too. Every now and then, she smiled at him, but Ranveer knew Isha far too well to be fooled by those smiles.

They weren't real.

Asking her directly would get him nowhere. If something had happened, she would simply hide it from him as she always did. So Ranveer decided he would find out for himself.

Both men began their breakfast while Isha stood beside them, serving as they ate. Ranveer had improved considerably over the past few weeks. He could now walk with the support of crutches, and his left arm had almost completely recovered. He had therefore started eating his meals alongside Abhyansh, unwilling to make Isha go through the trouble of serving them separately and exhausting herself twice.

"Isha... someone came to meet you," a servant announced as she entered.

"Who?" Isha asked.

She remained beside her husband. Abhyansh was still having his breakfast, and she wouldn't dare leave until he was finished.

"I don't know, Isha. They looked like royals too..." the servant replied.

Ranveer immediately frowned.

"You don't know? Didn't you ask who they were? You allowed them inside just like that?"

His irritation came from more than mere caution. These days, he was constantly worried about his sister's safety. After Madan's death, there was every possibility that his father would retaliate, and Isha would be the easiest target.

"I'm sorry, Your Highness. They came with the King's men, so I thought..." The woman trailed off nervously.

"Oh! It must be Ma..." A smile instantly brightened Isha's face. "She told me she would come to meet me because she was missing me."

She turned excitedly towards Ranveer, who returned her smile. But beneath it, another worry weighed on him.

He was already planning to take his sister away from Abhyansh as soon as he could. And when that happened, how would Isha handle leaving Amruta behind? She had grown deeply attached to her mother-in-law.

The moment Abhyansh finished his breakfast, Isha hurried towards the main hall.

Her face lit up when she saw Amruta and Avyan waiting there. She had expected her mother-in-law. She certainly hadn't expected her brother-in-law.

Isha rushed straight to Amruta and wrapped her arms around her in a tight hug.

"Ma, I missed you so much..." she said, making no attempt to loosen her hold.

Amruta's face softened.

"I never thought I'd get to hear that from my Isha. It's always the other way around, huh?" she teased.

"Ma..." Isha finally pulled back. "I only tease you. You know I miss you a lot too. And why did you take so long to visit your daughter?"

Amruta's gaze briefly moved past Isha before dropping. That small gesture was enough. Isha understood.

The King hadn't given his mother permission to come and meet her. Then why had he suddenly allowed them today? Was this compensation for burning her hand last night?

The thought crossed Isha's mind with bitter sarcasm before she dismissed it herself. Her pain gave him satisfaction. Why would a man like him ever feel the need to compensate her for causing it?

She mentally shook the thought away.

Not now.

"Avyan, how are you?" she asked, turning towards him with a smile.

"I'm fine. How are you?" Avyan returned with a small smile of his own.

He had missed his sister-in-law's smile. He had missed hearing her talk so much too.

"I'm fine too." Isha looked between him and Amruta. "Please stay for lunch."

"Um..."

Amruta and Avyan instinctively looked towards Abhyansh for permission.

Both wanted to stay. They had missed Isha's cooking terribly, but neither wanted to risk angering the Beast.

"Hmm."

That single sound from Abhyansh was enough. He walked away.

Amruta's face immediately broke into a wide smile, and she pulled Isha into another hug.

Since they were staying for lunch, Isha decided to prepare the meal in the main kitchen and serve everyone in the formal dining hall. Serving Amruta and Avyan inside Ranveer's chamber wouldn't be appropriate.

Meanwhile, Ranveer slowly made his way towards them with the help of his crutches. He greeted Amruta and Avyan before settling onto one of the couches in the main hall to keep them company.

Isha served them some snacks before heading to the kitchen to begin preparing lunch. After lunch, Amruta and Avyan finally left, but not before asking Isha to come back soon.

Days passed, and Ranveer's recovery progressed steadily. In another week, his final plasters would be removed, and he would finally be completely fine.

He had already decided what he would do once he recovered.

He would talk to Abhyansh.

Whatever it took, whatever price the Beast demanded, Ranveer would ask him what he wanted in exchange for setting his sister free. He had already begun preparing himself for that conversation. But before the day could arrive, Ranveer learned something.

Something that changed every plan he had made.
